Asbestos Victims Advocate Dies 
A campaigner for victims of asbestos illnesses dies at 89.
Wired PR News.com – An outspoken campaigner for victims of asbestos related diseases has passed away. As reported by Rochdale Online, Nancy Tait, who is recognized for her pioneering efforts and role in a known asbestos cancer cover up, died recently at the age of 89.
University of Southampton professor Nick Wikeley is quoted in the report as stating of Tait in an obituary, “Nobody achieved more than Nancy Tait, who has died at aged 89, in raising awareness about the hazards associated with asbestos exposure… Driven by her own search for justice she campaigned for victims of asbestos diseases and helped more than 3,000 families pick their way through a legal and scientific labyrinth.”
Tait whose husband died of mesothelioma in 1968, first became active in campaigns all across the globe to help victims of asbestos diseases decades ago.
