So Barack Obama is in my town as I write this. He has had a meeting with the Prime Minister, some lunch and then they took him for a beaver tail (deep-fried flat pastries) in the market.

An evening conversation in my kitchen:

I made the decision to tell my kids the truth after I was diagnosed. It was tough. They of course asked “Mom, are you going to die?”. They knew that people died of cancer.

I’m struggling a bit with this series of posts….I want to be positive and hopeful that everyone will fight and survive and beat their cancer odds. I want us all to be survivors and to live long and healthy and productive lives. I want us all to be poster children for cancer survival.
