An Ottawa reminder:
I did not join a cancer support group after I was diagnosed. Did I need emotional support? Yes. But I did not join a support group for reasons I have never shared with anyone.
I had a dream last night that spring had arrived. Everything was green and lush and the tulips were in bloom. When I woke up, I was very disappointed. The current temperature is -9C with a windchill of -18C (that’s 16F, with a windchill hovering around 0F, for American readers).
T oday was a beautiful, gorgeous day in the d.c. area. The air was warm, the sky was blue, and the sunbeams beat down everything in their path.
Just a reminder to anyone who lives in Toronto or anywhere nearby or who would like to visit Toronto that my book party (postponed in June because of the flu) has been re-scheduled for October 22, from 7-9 pm.
